Scott Boone

President & CEO

With over 20 years of experience in property development and construction, land-use planning and community development, Scott leads NHO as President/CEO, a position he has held since 2004.  During his tenure, NHO has grown from a single-county housing provider into a statewide leader of affordable and supportive housing.  Along the way, NHO was named 2008 Ohio CDC of the Year, among other honors.

Scott has a Master of Arts degree in Political Science/Public Administration from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Shawnee State University.  Additionally, he is a 2005 graduate of Lead Clermont. Scott is on the Board of Directors of NAMI Ohio and the Ohio Federation for Children’s Mental Health. Scott is on the steering committees for The Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition (MHAC) and Judge Rudduck’s You-Turn Recovery Docket in Clinton County.  He is also a member of the Anderson Township Zoning Commission. Previously he served on the Clermont County Mental Health Board, the Ohio Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council, and the Eastern Area United Way Action Council.

He is active in youth coaching and mentoring and lives with his wife and four children in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Teresa Carrier

Executive Vice President & COO

Teresa is responsible for leading and directing New Housing Ohio’s daily operational activities.  Prior to her role as Chief Operating Officer, Teresa oversaw the Finance and Administration of NHO as the Chief Financial Officer.  Since her arrival in 2002, Teresa has taken a lead role in NHO’s development projects from inception to completion with her grant writing and financial reporting expertise.  Teresa has extensive accounting knowledge and experience in not-for profit as well as for-profit in her personal life as a small business owner.  Her strong financial background, attention to detail and experience with grant compliance is a sound presence on NHO’s housing development team.
Teresa is very active in the NAMI Southwest Ohio Chapter and serves on their Board of Directors.  Teresa earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and has been involved with specialized housing programs and development for over 28 years.  She lives in Oxford with her husband of 26 years and daughter who graduated from Ball State University in December 2015, and who will be a first year graduate student at Wright State University in the fall of 2016.

Shannon Stamper

Vice President & CAO

Shannon is in charge of the accounting and human resources department for New Housing Ohio and its subsidiaries.  She is a 2006 graduate of Shawnee State University in which she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  After graduation, Shannon moved to the Cincinnati area where she obtained a position with New Housing Ohio as the Benefits Manager.  In her role as a Benefits Manager she worked with our clientele on budgeting, bill paying, obtaining public assistance, etc.  She quickly gained the skills and knowledge necessary to become a key leader for the organization.  Shannon is a dedicated part of our team and has contributed greatly to the growth of New Housing Ohio over the last thirteen years.  Her experience and training in accounting and human resources is vital to our organization.   

 

Shannon lives in the Loveland area with her husband of fourteen years with her two young children.

Patrick Baldwin

Facilities Director

Patrick has been working at New Housing Ohio since 1998 starting as Maintenance Supervisor and has served in his current position since 2009. He has been involved in housing related fields for over 17 years and, prior to NHO, worked for a local housing authority. Patrick has carpentry certification and oversees the maintenance, management and compliance for all existing NHO properties and new projects at completion. His knowledge and experience in facilities management continues to be an asset to the housing development team at NHO. Patrick lives in the Wilmington area with his wife.

Stephanie Hutzelman

Compliance Director

Stephanie graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to NHO, she worked as a case manager for a local mental health agency. She was responsible for assessing client needs, developing, implementing and reviewing service plans, and working with other community resources to achieve client service needs. Stephanie brought both her desire to help others and her strong organizational skills to NHO in 2010. As our Compliance Director, she works closely with both the property management and financial departments to ensure compliance in all areas.  Stephanie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati Social Enterprise Alliance. Stephanie lives in the Mason area with her husband and two energetic young children.

Taylor Alsip

Office Manager

Taylor is our Office Manager, she is responsible for all of our marketing, simple IT resolution, and keeping everyone working hard together as a team. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, spending time with her family, and taking care of those around her. Taylor lives in the Lebanon area with her husband of 2 years and their son.

Maggie Bremmer

RHO Coordinator

Prior to joining NHO, Maggie worked with Indiana Department of Child Services as a case manager. Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Ball State University. She is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Dayton. Maggie is from Indiana and will always be a Hoosier at heart.

Adam Elzey

CTP/RHO Program Manager

Adam graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Crime and Justice Studies. He also received a certificate in Social Inequalities and Diversity. Adam’s goal each day is to make a positive impact on another person’s life in any way possible. Adam enjoys fishing and kayaking, sports such as Ohio State Football and Cincinnati Reds baseball, and spending time with his wife and their group of friends.

Christa Sinclair

Accounting Coordinator

Christa is responsible for New Housing Ohio’s Accounting department. Christa has had 19 years of experience in the accounting field with her previous employer. She has worn many hats over the years from freight payables, property accounting, cash control accounting, and tax accounting. Christa is looking forward to becoming a huge asset to the NHO team with these past experiences. Christa lives in Fairfield with her husband, her son, and her daughter, who is currently attending Miami University for her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development. In Christa’s free time she enjoys country music concerts and vacations to the beach!

Tosha Crone

Supportive Services Director

Tosha is our Supportive Services Director. As part of her role, she oversees the Ohio Department of Corrections Returning Home Ohio Program, which supports individuals during re-entry and has been proven to reduce recidivism. Tosha earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Before becoming employed with NHO, she worked as a Housing Specialist with a local Mental Health Agency. Tosha is also a member of her local ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) Chapter 5 which is a not-for-profit organization which supports community charities, including Toys-for-Tots. She also loves spending time in Blanchester with her two teenage children who are both active in school.  GO CATS!


Rebeca Rodriguez

Property Management Director

Rebeca Rodriguez is our Property Manager Director for NHO. She grew up in Cidra, Puerto Rico and moved to Ohio on her last year of high school. Rebeca had developed a passion for property management at a young age, so she decided to pursuit a Property Management career for the housing industries. She has over 9 years of property management experience. Rebeca currently manages all NHO properties, work close with resident to determine HUD qualifications of each household, she manages multiple programs, projects, assist with different organizations and agencies and monitor Fair Housing and HUD guidelines. In her free time she enjoys going salsa dancing, and caring for her 3 children.

Challie Briihl

Congregate Living Coordinator

Challie has been employed with NHO since 2008.  She began as a Housing Associate, promoted to Group Home Manager, and currently serves as the Congregate Living Coordinator for our Adult Care Facilities in Seneca County.  Challie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in addiction counseling.

Steve Carter

Maintenance Manager

Steve is the Maintenance Technician at New Housing Ohio. He lives in Wilmington Ohio and grew up in Southwest Ohio.  He enjoys riding motorcycles in his free time.  Steve has two older brothers and a daughter.

Dreama Contner

Group Care Manager

Dreama is our Group Care Manager, previously Smith House Coordinator, a position she had held for 3 years. She has worked in the Mental Health Field for 8 years, spending 5 years at Solutions. During those years she helped operate a Crisis Line while helping to manage a Group Home of 12. Dreama enjoys inspiring her residents to become their best and likes to build a positive rapport with the community and area agencies.  Dreama has been married for 29 years has 2 children, 2 grandsons and a granddaughter.  During her free time, she enjoys being outside with her family.

Tevin Drosky

Program Coordinator- Cottage

Tevin lives in a little country town called Republic. She has been married for 14 years, with two sons, Bryce that is 17, and Braden that is 10 years old. Tevin has a dog named Bailey and cat named Camie. Tevin has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and Bachelor’s Degree from Kaplan College for Criminal Justice. She has worked in the criminal justice field for 20 years working as a detention officer, correction officer, counselor, supervisor for juvenile sex offenders, and AOD therapist. Tevin is certified to teach Aggression Replacement Training, and has taught groups such as Intensive Outpatient Program and Aftercare. Tevin loves traveling the world, cruises are her favorite but also has a permanent spot camping at KOA. She enjoys watching the Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland browns, and of course the Ohio State Buckeye. She is a very busy person, with work, and running her 10 year old to wrestling meets, football games, and cub scouts. Tevin’s favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse, she loves the rolls and the butter. Her favorite movie is, “The Heat” and anything with Vin Diesel in it. Tevin loves being a mother and being with her sons. Tevin loves what she does by helping people and making them more successful.

Latoiua Foster

Case Manager

Latoiua graduated from Miami University in 2012 with a degree in integrative studies. Integrative studies degree consists of a concentration in communicating with diverse people, family gender studies and society. Before coming to NHO, Latoiua used to work for the Butler County Health Department for three years as a certified community health worker. Latoiua worked with clients on the social determinants of health. She also worked with African-American pregnant women to reduce the infant mortality rate in Butler County. Latoiua is a housing case manager for NHO, in which she advocates for the clients that she serves and connects them with community resources to maintain their housing. She plans on obtaining her master’s degree in marriage family therapy with an emphasis on mental health and addiction. In her spare time, Latoiua enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters. Latoiua participates in church activities and likes to volunteer for community activities when she can. Latoiua focuses on mainly making sure people are moving forward and not going backwards. That is Latoiua goal for the clients she works with.

Natalie Jones

Housing Case Manager

Natalie graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies area of concentration in Families, Gender and Society\Organizational Leadership.  She also has an Associate of Arts Degree in Sociology. Natalie is a certified Community Health Worker (CCHW).  Her goal in life is to help everyone become their best self.  Natalie enjoys praise dancing, bike riding, socializing and having fun.  She loves to entertain people so they can have a great time.

Belinda Moore

Group Home Coordinator

Belinda is our Smith House Coordinator. Prior to joining NHO, Belinda has worked for other agencies with clients who have intellectual, developmental disabilities/ behavior, and mental health conditions. Belinda is very enthusiastic to be part of the NHO team and to continue to make a difference with the clients she works with. Belinda lives in Warren County, with her husband of 18 years, three daughters and one granddaughter. Belinda and her family enjoys cook-outs, hiking and fishing.
